Kareena Kapoor , the younger daughter of Randhir Kapoor and Babita-the actors of yore is keeping media at tenterhooks so far as her marriage plans are concerned.
Sandwiched between two related Khans- mama and bhanja Kareena seems to bask in their combined attention. She flips the chapter from Aamir Khan to Imran Khan as one would don different dress in a fashion show.
‘Older Khan meaning Aamir is intense while younger Khan (Imran) is more romantic”-she has already declared to the press earlier.
But what foxes media most is her lack of disclosure on marriage plans. Barely 31 she plans to make most of it till she is young, says a source who claims to know the working of her mind.
Industry was going pit-a pat this valentine that she may declare her plans for entering into nuptial bond with his beau Saif Ali Khan—a Khan whom she considers a personal affair. But she has dismayed every one so far.
Later this year ? or early next year? -you ask her and “no comment” seems to be her constant answer. Saif is playing it hard no less. The actor who has risen meteorically after Kareena came to his life is riding on the waves of success one after another.
Present day actors know it well that work and pleasure do not mix in bollywood. The actors of yesterdays who worked and said it ‘quits’ at the right time to raise family and kids are past now. Once out of public glare means total banishment from the glamour world. And no body knows it better than Madhuri Dixit.
Madhuri’s attempt to gain entry and claim her erstwhile position of fame has been greeted with lukewarm response so far. Kareena and Saif know it well and perhaps intend to make most of it till stars are on their side.
