Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza tied the knot in a traditional Marathi wedding. Soon after the event, the groom posted this photo on the social networking site Twitter saying 'Mr and MRS Deshmukh'
Riteish wore a white sherwani and a red turban.
Riteish is all smiles. The lavish wedding was organised at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Santa Cruz and Bollywood stars and politicians turned up in large numbers to bless the couple. The 'bidai' is at 5.30 in the evening.
The father of the groom, Vilasrao Deshmukh. Among the politicians, the guest list included names like the state Congress chief Kripashankar Singh, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan and Aditya Thackeray, son of Shiva Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray.
Riteish had written on his Twitter page that "saw the Last sunset as a Bachelor."
